About Suellyn

Suellyn Arts is a one-person studio where everything is made by hand: sculpted from clay, painted with fine brushes and finished with care. Most days it’s a table by the window, a cup of tea and a very small piece coming to life.

Suellyn’s favourite subjects are the ones people love most. Their pets, first of all, sculpted or painted from photos with the exact markings and the exact look in their eyes. But also the characters and stories that make people smile, from Totoro to Rapunzel to the Joker.

Each piece is one of a kind. Even the pieces that can be ordered again are shaped and painted by hand, so no two are ever quite the same. That’s the point.
